Goals

Class project was tasked come up with an application that will support livestock owners protect their livestock during a hurricane. Our mock client FEMA would like to focus their efforts specifically on Houston, TX, and utilize Harvey as their case

study to inform the application and website being built.

Challenges

Livestock owners need a communication method to chat in real-time and get live shelter updates, so that they can take proactive actions and avoid economic loss


Solution

To use a real-time feed and messaging service, where rescue teams, shelters and livestock owners can communicate.

Personas

 

User Goal

Kurt a retiree wants to keep in shape with new sports equipment wants to buy new gear from his local sport store. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his local shop is now closed and now needs an online retail shop that provides the same Fredericksburg aesthetic he loves, while supporting the local community.

Testing Results

I tested 5 users on six different tasks, I found that most confusion was around the adding to cart in product page and when you purchased an item there was no feedback telling you a purchase has been made.
